Pennies From HeavenThis year's Gala will be held on Saturday, May 8th, 6:30 p.m. at St. Gabriel Church, 5505 Bardstown Road in Fern Creek. Tickets are $20.00. Check out our wonderful Sponsors here!

"In the late summer of 1994, a small, but feisty lady entered the Fern Creek Highview United Ministries Adult Day Center. In her nineties, Ruth was beginning to experience dementia, but as she maneuvered her walker through the hallways it was clear that her spirit was not diminished. Peering out from behind her large glasses, she would honk her horn and with a wry smile attempt to run over my toes. She enjoyed life. As we learned more about Ruth we began to realize just how much zest for life she really had. This was a lady that raised over 20 foster children, roofed her own garage, and quilted. To say she quilted is an understatement. For ten years in a row she won the blue ribbon "best of show" .... read more!
