Congratulations and Special Thanks to Curves for Women
in Fern Creek!!!
The 2010 food collection delivered 2,000 pounds of food and toiletry items for the work of FCHUM!
In 2009, they exceeded their goal of 5,000 pounds of food by 492.7 pounds!! That's almost 3 TONS OF FOOD!! Not only that, they collected $527 in cash!! Their donation of cash will allow us to double their food contribution to over 10,000 pounds by buying food from Dare to Care at tremendous discount!! What a wonderful effort and what a wonderful gift!!
The Individual and Family Assistance Center has seen a great increase in the number of families who need food. In the spring and summer, we always see a drop in donations. Please, everyone, follow the lead of Curves for Women in Fern Creek and donate now and all through the year - THANK YOU!
